Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your Active Era Comfort Plus Air Bed is straightforward thanks to its built-in electric pump.
- Unpack the air bed from its travel bag and lay it flat on a clean, level surface.
- Locate the power cord for the built-in pump and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
- Ensure the inflation valve is securely closed before operating the pump.
- Turn on the pump. The bed will begin to inflate automatically.
- Once fully inflated (typically under 3 minutes), turn off the pump and unplug the power cord.
- For deflation, open the valve, turn on the pump in 'deflate' mode (if applicable, check pump instructions), or simply open the valve and gently roll the bed to expel air.
Compatibility
This single-sized air bed is ideal for:
- Indoor Use: Perfect as a temporary guest bed in homes, apartments, or dorm rooms.
- Outdoor Use: Suitable for camping inside tents or sheltered environments where an electrical outlet is accessible for inflation. The waterproof coating provides protection against moisture.
- Travel: Easily transportable with the included carry bag for road trips, visits, or temporary accommodation.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface of the air bed with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the bed is completely dry before storing.
- Puncture Prevention: Always place the air bed on a clear, smooth surface free from sharp objects. Avoid dragging the bed across rough ground.
- Storage: Ensure the air bed is completely deflated and dry before folding. Fold it neatly and place it back into its included travel bag. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Re-inflation: Air beds can naturally stretch and soften over time. It's normal to add a small amount of air after the first few uses, or if used for extended periods, to maintain desired firmness.
