Hamilton Prestige Roller Sleeve - 12" - Medium Pile

This sleeve is ideal for smooth to semi-smooth interior surfaces, including lightly patterned, woodchip, or previously painted walls and ceilings.

It is suitable for emulsions and water or solvent-based eggshell paints.

For water-based paints, rinse with clean water until clear and allow to dry. For solvent-based paints, use the recommended solvent, rinse with water, and dry.

The sleeve is designed to resist fibre shedding for a cleaner finish. Some minor shedding may occur initially, but it is minimized.

The 12" width allows you to cover larger areas more quickly and efficiently compared to smaller rollers.

It is compatible with most standard paint trays, but works best with a 12" tray to ensure even loading. It is specifically recommended for use with the Hamilton double arm roller frame (code 75328).

The thermo-bonded core prevents the roller sleeve from unwinding from the frame during use, ensuring consistent application and durability.

Ensure the roller sleeve is fully saturated with paint but not overloaded. Check for any debris on the surface being painted or on the roller. Use consistent, overlapping strokes.

Avoid overloading the roller. Apply paint with moderate pressure and smooth, even strokes. Ensure the roller is compatible with the paint type and surface texture.

While designed to minimize shedding, some initial minor shedding may occur. Lightly brush the roller before first use. If shedding persists, ensure the roller is clean and free from debris. Check that the roller is not being used on overly rough surfaces which could dislodge fibres.

Ensure the roller sleeve is properly fitted onto the roller frame and that the frame is functioning correctly. The thermo-bonded core is designed to prevent unwinding; if this occurs, the sleeve may be damaged or nearing the end of its usable life.
