Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Application Setup
Applying your foundation correctly sets the base for your entire makeup look. Follow these steps for an effortless application:
- Prep Your Skin: Start with a freshly cleansed and moisturized face. Allow your moisturizer to fully absorb before applying foundation.
- Prime (Optional): If you use a face primer, apply it now to create a smooth canvas and potentially extend wear.
- Dispense Product: Shake the foundation bottle gently. Pump a small amount onto a clean palette, the back of your hand, or directly onto your preferred application tool (brush, sponge, or fingertips).
- Even Application: Begin by dotting small amounts of foundation on your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin. Blend outwards from the center of your face to achieve a seamless finish.
- Build as Needed: For areas requiring more coverage, apply a second, thin layer, gently patting it into the skin rather than rubbing.
- Final Touches: Ensure all edges are blended, especially around the jawline and hairline, for a natural transition.
Compatibility
- Skin Types: The oil-free and high-water concentration formula makes this foundation suitable for a wide range of skin types, including normal, dry, and combination skin. While it provides a dewy finish, its oil-free nature can also work for oily skin when paired with a mattifying primer and light setting powder.
- Shade Matching: For the best match, test the foundation shade on your jawline in natural light. Allow it to set for a few minutes to see its true color against your skin.
Product Care
Proper care ensures the longevity and hygiene of your foundation:
- Storage: Store the foundation bottle upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Hygiene: To prevent contamination, avoid direct contact of the dispenser or your fingers with the foundation inside the bottle. Clean your application tools (brushes, sponges) regularly with mild soap and water, and allow them to air dry completely.
- Shelf Life: Refer to the 'Period After Opening' (PAO) symbol on the product packaging (often represented by an open jar icon with a number like '12M' for 12 months) for the recommended usage period after opening.
