Troubleshooting
Fabric feels stiff after washing.
Ensure you are using a gentle cycle and a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners which can reduce muslin's absorbency. Repeated washing will naturally restore softness.
Color fading.
Wash with similar colors and avoid direct sunlight during drying. Using a color-safe detergent can also help maintain vibrancy.
Shrinkage after washing.
While some minimal shrinkage is natural with cotton, avoid high heat settings in the washer or dryer. Air drying or low tumble dry settings are recommended.
