Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The casserole dishes come ready to use. No assembly is required.
Compatibility:
- Stovetops: Suitable for gas, electric, and induction hobs.
- Ovens: Oven-safe for baking and roasting.
- Dishwasher: Not recommended. Hand washing is advised to preserve the enamel.
- Utensils: Use wood, silicone, or plastic utensils to avoid scratching the enamel surface. Metal utensils can be used with caution, but may scratch.
Care:
- Before First Use: Wash with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Cooking: Avoid using metal utensils that can scratch the enamel. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Cleaning: After use, wash with warm water and a soft sponge. For stubborn residue, simmer a small amount of water in the dish on low heat for a few minutes to loosen it. Avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g., placing a hot dish in cold water).
- Drying: Always dry the casserole dish thoroughly after washing. Leaving it on a low heat on the hob for a few minutes can help ensure it is completely dry before storage.
- Storage: Store with a cloth or paper towel between the dish and lid to protect the enamel.
