FAQs

What are the exact capacities of each scoop?

The Small scoop is 50ml, the Medium is 100ml, and the Large is 150ml.

Are these scoops safe to wash in a dishwasher?

Yes, the entire Trakker Bait Scoop Set is dishwasher safe.

Do the scoops really float?

Yes, the material used in the construction is naturally buoyant and will float if dropped into the water.

Can I use these with the Trakker 17L Heavy Duty Cuvette?

Absolutely, they are designed to be used in conjunction with the Trakker 17L Heavy Duty Cuvette for maximum efficiency.

What material are the scoops made of?

They are made from a robust, food-grade, one-piece plastic polymer.

Troubleshooting

Scoops are difficult to unclip.

Ensure they are fully dry, as wet, sticky bait residue can create a suction effect between the layers; rinse with warm water to release.

Bait sticking to the inside of the scoop.

Lightly dampen the interior of the scoop with water before use to create a barrier against particularly sticky spod mixes.

Pros and Cons

Not suitable for very large-scale bulk groundbait mixing
Plastic material may scratch if used against sharp rocks

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Simply unclip the set from its nested position. The scoops are ready for immediate use straight out of the box.

Compatibility: While these scoops can be used with any bait container, they are precision-engineered to integrate with the Trakker 17L Heavy Duty Cuvette, allowing the scoops to sit securely against the side of the container.

Care: After use, rinse the scoops with fresh water to remove any lingering particles. For a deep clean, place the scoops in the dishwasher. Avoid using abrasive scouring pads, as they may create micro-scratches on the surface where bait residues could potentially accumulate.
