FAQs

Are these toothbrush heads compatible with all Oral-B electric toothbrushes?

No, these iO Kids toothbrush heads are designed exclusively for Oral-B iO electric toothbrush handles.

What age range are these toothbrush heads and toothpaste for?

The toothbrush heads and the included Pro Junior toothpaste are specifically formulated for children aged 6 years and older.

How often should I replace the toothbrush heads?

It is recommended to replace the toothbrush heads every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles show signs of wear (fraying).

Can I use regular adult toothpaste with these heads?

While you can technically use adult toothpaste, the included Oral-B Pro Junior toothpaste is specifically formulated for children aged 6+ with an age-appropriate fluoride level and mild flavor for optimal cavity protection and acceptance.

What makes the bristles 'extra-soft'?

The extra-soft bristles are specifically engineered to be gentle on children's developing gums and enamel while still effectively removing plaque.

How do I clean the toothbrush head?

After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water to remove toothpaste residue. Store it upright to air dry.

Does this product include the electric toothbrush handle?

No, this product includes only the toothbrush heads and a tube of toothpaste. It requires a compatible Oral-B iO electric toothbrush handle.

Troubleshooting

Toothbrush head does not attach securely to the handle.

Ensure you are using a compatible Oral-B iO handle. Remove any debris from the metal shaft and the inside of the brush head attachment point. Press the head firmly onto the handle until it clicks.

Child complains of discomfort during brushing.

Verify that the toothbrush head is an 'iO Kids' model with extra-soft bristles. Ensure only a small amount of toothpaste is used. Encourage a gentle brushing technique rather than scrubbing.

Toothpaste tube is difficult to open or dispense.

Ensure the cap is properly aligned and twisted. If the nozzle is blocked, gently clear it with a clean pin or toothpick. Store the tube upright.
