These mitts are designed to perform optimally in temperatures between -5°C and +12°C.
No, they feature a windproof Pertex shell but are not rated as waterproof for sustained exposure to heavy rain or immersion.
The Buffalo Systems DP Mitts come in standard adult sizes (S, M, L, XL). Measure the circumference of your dominant hand to ensure a proper fit.
The design of these mitts is focused on thermal protection and dexterity is limited, so they are not optimized for touchscreen use.
Hand wash gently in cool water with a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and ensure they are thoroughly air-dried before the next use.
They are engineered to remain effective and windproof in wind speeds up to 50mph.
The pile lining is designed to wick moisture. If they feel damp after high activity, allow them to air dry; they will continue to provide warmth even when damp.
Ensure the touch-and-close hook-and-loop fasteners are free of debris, lint, or ice, which can prevent them from securing correctly.
To ensure optimal performance, adjust the wrist closure until it is snug but comfortable to seal in warmth. These mitts are designed for a unisex adult fit. For care, wash the mitts sparingly using a mild soap, as the AquaTherm pile is highly efficient at self-regulating moisture. Do not use fabric softeners, as these can impede the wicking performance of the lining. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators to preserve the integrity of the Pertex shell.
