FAQs

How often should I change the oil?

Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for the recommended oil change interval. This typically varies based on driving conditions and vehicle type.

Can I mix Mannol 5W30 with other brands of oil?

Mixing oils is generally not recommended. It's best to stick with one brand and type of oil. If necessary, ensure the oils meet the same specifications.

What does the 5W30 designation mean?

5W30 refers to the oil's viscosity. The '5W' indicates the oil's viscosity at cold temperatures, and '30' indicates the viscosity at operating temperatures.

Is this oil suitable for diesel engines?

This oil is suitable for many diesel engines; however, confirm compatibility with your specific vehicle's specifications before use. Refer to your vehicle's manual.

What are the benefits of using fully synthetic oil?

Fully synthetic oils offer superior protection against wear, better performance in extreme temperatures, and longer oil change intervals compared to conventional oils.

Where can I dispose of used oil?

Used oil should be taken to a local recycling center or an auto parts store that accepts used oil for proper disposal.

What is LL-04?

LL-04 stands for Longlife-04, a BMW specification for engine oils designed for extended drain intervals and improved performance.

Troubleshooting

Engine knocking or unusual noises after an oil change.

Check the oil level and ensure the correct amount of oil was added. If the issue persists, consult a mechanic to check for engine damage.

Oil pressure warning light illuminated.

Stop driving and check the oil level immediately. If the level is low, add more oil. If the light remains on, consult a mechanic.
