Product Information

Full details

This guide is for food service businesses, caterers, and event organizers looking for a reliable and presentable way to package medium-sized hot or cold food items. The key benefit is their leak-proof, flip-top design that ensures food stays secure and presentable during transport. A minor caveat is their disposable nature, making them less eco-friendly for businesses prioritizing reusable packaging. These medium deli boxes, made from Kraft paper, feature a polyethylene coating for leak resistance and a convenient flip-top closure, ideal for a variety of food items from meals to desserts.

Extended Product Information

FAQs

Are these boxes microwave safe?

These boxes are not recommended for microwave use. The polyethylene lining may not be suitable for microwave heating.

What are the exact dimensions of the medium box?

The product description specifies them as 8 inches, which typically refers to the longest dimension of the base or top opening.

Can these boxes be used for freezing food?

These boxes are not designed for freezing. The Kraft paper and lining may degrade in freezing temperatures and moisture.

How many boxes are included in one pack?

Each pack contains 300 medium deli takeaway boxes.

What is the material of the boxes?

The boxes are made from Kraft paper with a polyethylene coating for leak resistance.

Are these boxes recyclable?

Due to the polyethylene lining, these boxes are generally not recyclable in standard curbside programs. Please check with your local waste management for specific disposal guidelines.

Troubleshooting

Box not closing securely

Ensure no food debris is obstructing the flip-top closure. Check that the box is not overfilled, which can prevent a proper seal.

Minor leakage observed

While designed to be leak-proof, very liquid-heavy foods or rough handling might cause minor seepage. For extremely liquid-based meals, consider using a secondary bag or additional protection.

Box deforming with hot food

Ensure the food is not excessively steaming hot, as extreme heat can soften the Kraft material. Allow food to cool slightly before packaging if issues arise.

Pros and Cons

  • Convenient flip-top design simplifies serving and transport.
  • Professional and attractive Kraft paper finish enhances food presentation.
  • Durable construction prevents box collapse during use.
  • Generous bulk pack quantity offers cost-effectiveness.

Cons

  • Disposable nature is not suitable for eco-conscious businesses seeking reusable options.
  • Polyethylene lining may not be ideal for all types of extremely oily or acidic foods over extended periods.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: These boxes come pre-assembled and ready for immediate use. No setup is required.

Care:

  • These boxes are single-use and intended for disposal after one meal.
  • Do not attempt to wash or reuse.
