The Grdn Living Aston Wood Burning Fire Pit is an ideal choice for homeowners looking to enhance their patio or garden seating area with a reliable, classic wood-burning focal point. With its 80cm diameter and durable 2mm steel construction, it provides substantial warmth for outdoor gatherings; however, users should be aware that it requires manual cleaning and periodic maintenance to prevent rust and ensure longevity in wetter climates.

It is not recommended to place the fire pit directly on wooden decking as the high heat can scorch the wood. Use a heat-resistant, non-combustible mat beneath the unit.
Only use dry, seasoned firewood. Avoid burning treated wood, painted wood, or construction waste, as these can release toxic fumes.
Like most powder-coated steel products, high heat can eventually affect the finish. Keeping it covered when not in use significantly slows this process.
Once the fire pit has cooled for at least 24 hours, use a small shovel or scoop to remove the ash and dispose of it in a metal bin.
The cover is designed to protect against rain and debris, but it should be kept snug to prevent water from pooling on top.
The Grdn Living Aston Fire Pit comes with a 5-year guarantee against manufacturing defects.
Check that all leg-to-bowl bolts are fully tightened and verify that the surface is perfectly level.
This is a natural process for steel. Remove loose rust with a wire brush and apply a high-temperature, heat-resistant matte black paint.
Ensure the handle is not obstructed. Always use heat-resistant gloves when removing the guard while the fire is lit.
Assembly is straightforward and requires basic tools to attach the legs to the main bowl. Ensure all bolts are tightened firmly to maintain stability. Compatibility is high for most garden spaces, but you must ensure the unit is placed on a level, fire-proof surface. To care for your fire pit, always wait for the unit to cool completely before removing ash. Because the finish can be compromised by moisture, clean off ash as soon as possible after use and use the provided fabric cover whenever the pit is not being used. If signs of rust appear, they can be touched up with high-temperature black spray paint to maintain the finish.
