Full details

Add colourful foliage and a dainty display of summer flowers with Heuchera Marmalade. This semi-evergreen hardy perennial produces distinctive shades from pink, bronze and yellow-brown foliage with slightly ruffled edges that glows with a metallic sheen in the sun. It looks wonderful when grown alongside a variety of colours and textures for an eye-catching, varied display. Its attractive show is only bettered during the summer months when it produces an elegant spray of brownish flowers with pink slender upright stems. Perfect for growing in the front of borders. Pot up heuchera plants and grow them on in frost-free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors. Heuchera plants dislike soils which are particularly dry or have a tendency to waterlogging. Plant them in moist, fertile, well-drained soil, adding plenty of compost or well-rotted manure to amend heavy clay or sandy soils. Choose a position towards the front of the border in full sun or semi-shade. Feed and water coral flower plants regularly until they are fully established. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure around the crown of each plant each spring. Lift and divide clumps of heuchera every 3 years in autumn to maintain vigorous, healthy growth. Position in: Sun or Semi Shade. Height up to: 50cm (19”). Spread up to: 50cm (19”). Supplied as 1x Heuchera Marmalade 9cm Potted Plant. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
