Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The drill bit set is ready for immediate use upon opening the case. Ensure the drill chuck is clean and free of debris before inserting a bit. Select the appropriate bit size for your application and secure it firmly in the drill chuck.
Compatibility: These bits are compatible with most standard drill chucks found on corded and cordless drills. They are designed for use with drills that have sufficient power and RPM capabilities for drilling into hard materials. For best results, use with a drill press for maximum stability and accuracy when drilling dense metals.
Care: To maximize the lifespan of your drill bits:
- Lubrication: For drilling into very hard materials like stainless steel or titanium alloys, use a cutting fluid or specialized lubricant to reduce heat and friction.
- Cooling: Allow the bit to cool periodically during extended drilling sessions.
- Avoid Excessive Force: Do not force the bit; let the sharp cutting edges do the work. Excessive side pressure can cause breakage.
- Storage: Keep the bits organized in their provided case to protect them from damage and corrosion. Ensure the case is closed when not in use.
