Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: While bikes often come partially assembled, professional assembly by a bike shop is recommended to ensure all components are correctly installed and adjusted for safety and optimal performance. This includes brake and gear tuning.
Compatibility: The frame is compatible with standard racks, fenders, a kickstand, and lights. The handlebar uses a 31.8 mm clamp diameter, and the seatpost is 27.2 mm. The wheelset uses Schrader valves and is designed for 650b tires.
Care: Regularly clean the bike using mild soap and water. Pay special attention to cleaning the drivetrain (chain, cassette, chainrings) to maintain smooth operation. Keep tires inflated to the recommended pressure, typically indicated on the tire sidewall. Lubricate the chain periodically, especially after riding in wet conditions. Store the bike in a dry place to prevent rust and component degradation. For hydraulic disc brakes, avoid spraying cleaning agents directly onto the rotors or pads.
