Burns Weight Control Chicken and Oats is specifically formulated for adult dogs struggling with weight management or those prone to rapid weight gain. By utilizing a high-fibre profile derived from wholegrain oats, this diet promotes a feeling of satiety to prevent hunger-related behaviors, though owners must adhere strictly to portion guidelines to ensure effective caloric restriction.

No, this diet relies on wholegrain oats to provide the fibre necessary for weight control.
Yes, you can mix it with complementary wet food, but ensure you adjust the total daily amount to account for the calories in the wet food.
Because it is hypoallergenic and uses simple ingredients, many dogs with skin sensitivities find relief when switching to this diet.
Check your portions; ensure that treats, scraps, and training rewards are being accounted for in the total daily calorie intake.
Try slightly warming the kibble with a small amount of warm water or mixing in a tiny portion of the previous food to ease the transition.
To begin using this food, consult the feeding guide on the bag based on your dog's ideal target weight. Store the bag in a cool, dry place and ensure the top is sealed effectively to maintain the crunch and nutrient integrity. While this diet is complete, ensure your dog always has access to fresh, clean drinking water. If you are transitioning from a high-protein or raw diet, the adjustment period may take slightly longer.
