The Medela Swing Flex breast pump is designed for breastfeeding mothers seeking a compact and efficient pumping solution for everyday use. Its key benefit is the comfortable and effective milk expression thanks to the Flex technology and 2-Phase Expression. Note that this pump is a single electric pump, which may require more time compared to double electric pumps.

Disassemble the pump parts that come into contact with milk and wash them with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry. Sterilize the parts as recommended by Medela.
The Medela Swing Flex comes with two PersonalFit Flex breast shield sizes (21mm and 24mm). Choose the size that fits comfortably and allows your nipple to move freely without rubbing against the tunnel.
The pump is compatible with Medela bottles. Using other bottles might require an adapter.
Replace the breast shields and valves as needed, typically every 1-3 months, or as recommended by Medela. Replace the tubing if it shows any signs of wear or damage.
2-Phase Expression technology mimics a baby's natural sucking pattern. It starts with a faster rhythm to stimulate milk flow and then switches to a slower, deeper rhythm for expression.
Replacement parts can be found on the Medela website or through authorized retailers.
Check that the pump is properly connected to the power supply and that the outlet is working. Also, ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the pump.
Check all connections for air leaks. Inspect the breast shield and valve. Replace any worn or damaged parts. Adjust the vacuum level to a comfortable setting.
Inspect the pump motor and tubing for any obstructions or damage. Contact Medela customer support if the issue persists.
