Setup, Compatibility & Care
For optimal performance, ensure the radiator is mounted on a structurally sound wall capable of supporting its weight. Since this unit is compatible with all standard central heating systems, it can be plumbed in as a direct replacement for existing units or installed as part of a new system.
- Installation: Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct pressure balancing and to prevent leaks.
- Valves: You must purchase compatible valves separately, as they are not included in the box.
- Maintenance: To keep the Elk Brown finish in peak condition, wipe the exterior periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the powder-coated surface.
- Bleeding: Regularly bleed the radiator using a standard bleed key to release any trapped air and ensure efficient water circulation.
