Full details

The BazookaGoal XXL is a durable, pop-up football goal designed for coaches and players seeking to enhance team training and individual skills. Its key benefit is the rapid 30-second setup and easy portability, allowing for quick integration into practice sessions. A potential caveat is its size, which may be too large for very confined spaces, though it excels in providing ample room for distance play. Key features include an oxidized aluminum frame for weather resistance, UPVC foldable crossbars, a telescoping frame, and a net that doubles as a carry bag.

Troubleshooting

Goal frame appears unstable.

Ensure all telescoping sections are fully extended and locked into place. Check that the recoil mechanism is functioning correctly.

Net is difficult to fold into the carry bag.

Ensure the frame is completely collapsed and that the net is not twisted. Gently guide the net around the folded frame.

Oxidation finish seems to be wearing off.

This is a normal cosmetic change over time with heavy use and exposure. The structural integrity of the aluminum is unaffected. Clean with a damp cloth and ensure it's dry before storing.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely fast setup and takedown.
Robust, weather-resistant materials for longevity.
Highly portable with integrated carry bag functionality.
Supports a wide range of training drills for skill development.
Stable and safe due to recoil frame.

Cons

May be larger than desired for very small training areas.
UPVC crossbars might be less durable than full aluminum under extreme stress.
Requires some assembly for initial use (though setup is quick).

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The BazookaGoal XXL is designed for a 30-second setup. Unfold the telescoping aluminum frame and connect the crossbars. The net is integrated and forms the carry bag when folded. No additional tools or pegs are required.

Compatibility: This goal is suitable for use on grass, artificial turf, and other relatively flat surfaces. It is designed for outdoor training sessions.

Care: To maintain the goal's condition, wipe the aluminum posts and UPVC crossbars with a damp cloth as needed. Ensure the net is dry before storing to prevent mildew. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods. The oxidized finish on the aluminum parts provides inherent weather resistance, but prolonged exposure to harsh elements is not recommended.
