FAQs
Are these lighters refillable?
While primarily designed as disposable, Clipper lighters can often be refilled with butane fuel. However, the flint and ignition mechanism are not designed for long-term refilling.
How long does a single lighter typically last?
The lifespan varies based on usage. For typical intermittent use (e.g., lighting candles or stoves), a single lighter can last for a significant number of ignitions.
What is the flint mechanism like?
Clipper lighters feature a replaceable flint system. The flint can be removed and replaced if it wears down.
Are there different colors or designs available?
Yes, Clipper often produces lighters in various colors and designs. The pack of 24 may contain a mix or a specific assortment.
Can I adjust the flame height?
No, these lighters have a fixed flame height and do not offer an adjustment mechanism.
What are the dimensions of a single lighter?
Clipper lighters are standard pocket lighter size, approximately 7.5 cm (3 inches) in height.
Troubleshooting
Lighter does not ignite.
Ensure the flint wheel is clean and free of debris. Check if there is sufficient fuel; while designed to be disposable, some may have less fuel initially. If the lighter is damaged, replace it.
Flame is weak or inconsistent.
Gently clean the nozzle area. Ensure the lighter is held upright to allow proper fuel flow. If the issue persists, the lighter may be nearing the end of its fuel supply.
Lighter feels unusually warm.
Discontinue use immediately and allow it to cool. This can indicate a malfunction or excessive use in rapid succession.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Clipper lighters require no setup; they are ready to use out of the package. They are compatible with standard butane refills if the user wishes to extend their life, though they are primarily designed as disposable units.
