Setup, Compatibility & Care

Preparation: Ensure the ground is level and compacted. Excavate to the required depth, considering the thickness of the slabs and the base material.
Base Layer: Lay a base of compacted hardcore or MOT Type 1, followed by a layer of sharp sand. This provides a stable and draining foundation.
Laying the Slabs: Place the slabs on the sand, ensuring they are level and spaced appropriately. Use a rubber mallet to gently tap them into place.
Jointing: Fill the joints with kiln-dried sand or a suitable jointing compound.
Compatibility: These slabs are compatible with various base materials and jointing compounds. Always check the manufacturer's recommendations for specific products.
Care: Regularly sweep the slabs to remove debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or pressure washers, as these can damage the surface. Consider sealing the slabs to prevent staining and water absorption.
