Troubleshooting

Accessory is unstable or slips

Ensure the 1/4"-20 screw is fully tightened into the accessory and the ballhead's central locking knob is securely tightened. Check that the clamp is firmly attached to its mounting surface.

Clamp will not grip the surface securely

Verify that the surface thickness is within the 54mm maximum limit. Ensure there is no debris on the clamp pads or the mounting surface. Tighten the adjustment knob firmly.

Magic arm feels loose on the clamp

Confirm the anti-twist structure is properly engaged and that the clamp's tightening knob is secure. Re-tighten both mechanisms if necessary.

Difficulty turning the adjustment knobs

Check for any obstructions or debris. If knobs are stiff, apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the threads, but avoid over-lubrication.
