Yes, it is suitable for serving bread, provided you use a cloth napkin inside the compartment to keep the bread clean and away from the natural fibers.
Use a barely damp cloth to gently spot clean the affected area. Avoid soaking the basket, as water can cause the natural material to warp.
It is recommended to use a liner, such as a paper napkin or cloth, when placing food items directly into the basket to maintain hygiene.
The basket is designed for household utility, but it is best to avoid overloading it with excessive weight to preserve the structural shape of the woven handle.
As it is made from natural materials, prolonged exposure to direct, harsh sunlight may cause slight color variations or fading.
Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently dislodge particles from the crevices.
Blot the area immediately with a dry cloth and allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated space away from direct heat sources.
No assembly is required for this basket; it is ready to use immediately upon arrival. For compatibility, ensure the dimensions of your items fit within the two compartments, keeping in mind the slight taper common to hand-woven goods. To maintain the basket, dust it regularly with a dry cloth or a soft-bristled brush to remove crumbs or debris. Avoid placing the basket in areas with high humidity or near open water sources, as the natural water hyacinth fibers can absorb moisture, potentially leading to mildew or softening of the weave over time.
