The Braun ThermoScan is fast, gentle, and easy to use, suitable for the whole family from newborns to adults. It features patented Age Precision technology, which takes the guesswork out of temperature readings by providing an age-dependent temperature display. The thermometer measures the infrared heat emitted from the eardrum and surrounding tissue. To prevent inaccurate measurements, the probe tip warms up to a temperature similar to body temperature.
