Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unpack the monitor and identify all components (stand, base, power cable, video cable).
- Attach the monitor stand to the back of the monitor, following the included instructions. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Connect the monitor to your computer using the provided video cable (e.g., HDMI, DisplayPort) or a compatible cable.
- Connect the power cable and plug it into a power outlet.
- Turn on the monitor using the power button.
- For optimal webcam and audio performance, connect the monitor's USB cable to your computer and install any necessary drivers or software from the Dell support website.
Compatibility:
This monitor is compatible with most modern operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, provided the necessary drivers are installed. It supports standard video input signals via its available ports.
Care:
- Screen Cleaning: Power off the monitor and unplug the power cord. Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Never spray liquid directly onto the screen.
- Ventilation: Ensure the monitor's ventilation slots are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Handling: Avoid touching the screen with sharp objects or excessive pressure.
