Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply plug one end of the Cat8 Ethernet cable into your network device (e.g., router, switch, gaming console, PC) and the other end into the corresponding port on your network equipment. Ensure the connectors click firmly into place.
Compatibility: This Cat8 cable is backward compatible with Cat7, Cat6a, Cat6, and Cat5e network ports and devices. However, to achieve the maximum specified speeds (25-40 Gbit/s), both connected devices and any intermediate network hardware (routers, switches) must also support the Cat8 standard.
Care: Keep the cable free from sharp bends or kinks, especially near the connectors, to maintain optimal performance. Avoid placing heavy objects directly on the cable, particularly if using the flat profile under carpets. Clean the cable with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals or solvents.
