The Hozelock Pro Metal Aquastop Hose Connector features a zinc die-cast sleeve, making it strong, durable, and scratch-resistant. The large bump ring protects greenhouses and cars from damage. The AquaStop connector includes an internal valve that stops water flow when an accessory, like a spray gun, is disconnected. This feature eliminates the need to return to the tap to turn off the water when switching accessories and helps conserve water by stopping flow when unused. All internal components are constructed from ultra-tough engineering plastics for extended, leak-free performance. The connection to the tap is secured up to 10 bars due to a triple locking system, and the easy-to-use sleeve is designed with twin soft-touch pads for grip even when wet. The hose is securely held by barbs that connect both inside and outside the hose. Kinking, swelling, and leaking at the connection point are minimized by an innovative, flexible hose-tail on the nut. This hose connector is ideal for use at the spray gun end of a hosepipe and is compatible with all 12.5mm (1/2in) and 15mm (5/8in) hoses.
