Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Choose Location: Select a suitable ceiling location, ensuring no obstructions like wiring or pipes are present.
- Trace Template: Use the provided template to mark the cutting area on the ceiling.
- Cut Opening: Carefully cut the hole according to the template.
- Wire Speaker: Connect speaker wires from your amplifier to the speaker terminals, observing correct polarity (+/-).
- Insert Speaker: Place the speaker into the cut opening and secure it using the integrated mounting clips.
- Attach Grille: Position the magnetic grille onto the speaker.
Compatibility:
The eAudio ceiling speaker is designed to work with a wide range of audio systems, including:
- Most standard Hi-fi amplifiers.
- Surround sound receivers (AVRs).
- Multi-room audio systems.
Ensure your amplifier or receiver has sufficient power output for the speaker's requirements and is compatible with the speaker's impedance.
Care:
- Keep the speaker grille clean by dusting it regularly with a soft, dry cloth or a vacuum cleaner on a low setting.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the speaker cone or grille.
- Ensure the speaker remains dry; it is not designed for outdoor or wet environments.
