No, this cartridge is specifically engineered for the M5526cdw and M5526cdn models only.
Genuine units will feature the KYOCERA Document Solutions logo either molded into the plastic cassette or printed on a green label with white text.
The TK-5240K has an estimated page yield of 4,000 pages based on standard ISO testing.
The toner contains ceramic cleaning beads that help clean the drum during normal operation, so no additional manual cleaning is required beyond standard maintenance.
While it produces excellent text and graphics, this toner is designed for document printing; photo quality will depend on your printer's specific resolution settings.
Ensure the cartridge is correctly seated. Run the printer's internal 'Drum Refresh' cycle if available, or gently shake the cartridge to distribute toner.
Verify the cartridge is fully inserted and the latch is closed. Clean the sensor window on the cartridge if it appears dusty.
Compatibility is strictly limited to the Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw and ECOSYS M5526cdn printers. Installation involves opening the front toner access panel and sliding the cartridge into the designated slot until it clicks securely into place. To ensure longevity, always keep the cartridge in its original, sealed packaging until you are ready to use it. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent toner clumping. When replacing, shake the new cartridge horizontally several times to evenly distribute the toner before insertion.
