Setup (Installation):
- Safety First: Always disconnect the oven from the power supply at the mains before beginning any work.
- Access the Element: This typically involves removing the oven back panel or accessing the element from the oven cavity, depending on the model.
- Remove Old Element: Unscrew or unclip the old element and carefully disconnect its wiring.
- Install New Element: Connect the wiring to the new EGO element and secure it in place using the original fixings.
- Reassemble: Replace any panels removed.
- Test: Restore power and test the oven's heating function.
*Note: If you are not comfortable performing these steps, it is recommended to hire a qualified appliance engineer.*
Care: The oven element itself requires minimal direct care as it operates at high temperatures. However, regular cleaning of your oven interior will prevent food debris from carbonizing onto the element, which can cause odors and affect performance. Ensure the oven is cool and disconnected from power before cleaning the interior.
