Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best results, ensure the spur is pushed firmly onto the heel of the boot until it sits securely against the back stay. Because of the 'Extra Grip' coating, you may notice a slight resistance when sliding them on, which indicates a proper, tight fit. Compatibility is generally universal across standard English-style riding boots. To care for your spurs, wipe them down after every ride with a soft, damp cloth to remove sweat, dirt, or horse hair. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes on the rubber coating, as these could degrade the grip material over time. Store them in a dry place to prevent the metal from tarnishing.
