It is made of rainwear nylon which is water-resistant, suitable for light snow or brief exposure to moisture, but it is not intended for heavy, prolonged rain.
The trim is designed for easy removal; check for snap buttons or a small zipper along the edge of the hood.
We recommend professional dry cleaning by a specialist to ensure the down loft and shearling quality are preserved.
Yes, the down-filled boudin quilting is specifically engineered to provide high levels of warmth in sub-zero temperatures.
Store it in a cool, dry place on a proper hanger. Avoid plastic garment bags which can trap moisture; a breathable cloth cover is ideal.
Gently shake the trim and use a soft-bristled brush to fluff the fibers back into position.
This is normal for high-quality down items. Pull the feather back into the jacket from the inside rather than pulling it out through the fabric.
To maintain the integrity of the down fill and the nylon shell, avoid exposing the coat to direct, high heat or harsh chemicals. The coat is best stored on a sturdy, broad-shouldered hanger to maintain its shape when not in use. If the garment gets wet, shake it gently and hang it in a well-ventilated area away from direct radiators to air dry. For cleaning, follow the care label strictly; because of the down content and shearling trim, professional dry cleaning by a specialist familiar with luxury outerwear is strongly advised.
