The ATEK Cat6 FTP Ethernet Cable is designed for professional installers and networking enthusiasts seeking a high-performance, shielded solution for extensive cable runs. It offers the benefit of reliable 10Gbps data transmission and robust support for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, though its 305-meter bulk packaging makes it best suited for large-scale installations rather than quick, short-patch home connections.

No, this is a bulk 305m spool of raw cable; you will need to purchase and attach your own RJ45 connectors.
This cable is designed for standard network installations. If you need to run it outdoors, it must be placed inside a conduit to protect it from moisture and UV exposure.
Yes, Cat6 is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 networking equipment.
While the total cable length is 305m, 10Gbps speeds are typically supported up to a maximum distance of 55 meters for a single segment.
You should use a standard RJ45 crimping tool capable of handling Cat6 gauge wire and shielding if applicable.
Verify that your connectors are properly seated and that the cable run does not exceed the 100m Ethernet standard limit.
Check that the shielding is properly grounded and ensure the cable was not pinched or overly bent during installation.
Re-terminate the RJ45 plugs, ensuring all eight wires are pushed fully into the connector and the wire order matches the T568B or T568A standard.
For optimal results, ensure the cable is installed by a professional or someone experienced with network termination.
