Product Information
Full details
The Fjuka Boilies 14mm are designed for anglers who prioritize efficiency and quick results, making them an ideal choice for short sessions, day fishing, or setting up a reliable sleeper rod. Their primary benefit is the specialized Sensate paste coating that creates an immediate attraction cloud in the water, mimicking the impact of a PVA bag without the complex setup requirements. While these boilies are highly effective at attracting a variety of species including carp, barbel, bream, and tench, they are best suited for situations where active attraction is preferred over long-term bottom feeding tactics.

FAQs
Can I use these for long-session fishing?
While they are optimized for quick sessions, you can use them for longer sessions, though you may need to re-bait more frequently to maintain the high-attraction scent cloud.
Do I need to dip these in extra attractants?
No, the Fjuka Boilies come pre-coated with a high-potency Sensate paste specifically designed to provide all the attraction you need.
Are these boilies safe for all fish?
Yes, they are designed as food-grade attractants suitable for carp, barbel, bream, and tench.
How long does the scent cloud last?
The Sensate coating is designed to release a scent trail that lasts for hours, depending on water temperature and flow conditions.
Can I fish these in a PVA bag anyway?
You certainly can, though the product is designed to function as a standalone bait to save you the time and cost of using PVA bags.
Troubleshooting
Bait falling off the hair during the cast
Ensure you are using a slightly smaller hook stop or ensure the hair is firmly anchored into the denser inner core of the boilie rather than just the soft coating.
Coating seems to disappear too quickly
Avoid handling the bait with wet or warm hands for too long before casting, as body heat and moisture can begin the activation process before the bait enters the water.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Instant attraction cloud upon entry
- No PVA bags required for immediate scent dispersion
- Perfect for short, high-impact angling sessions
- Reliable, proven performance for various coarse fish species
Cons
- Designed primarily for attraction rather than long-duration hook-holds
- The soft exterior coating is susceptible to nibbling by nuisance fish
- Requires careful handling to preserve the integrity of the Sensate layer
Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Hooking: Use a standard hair rig or bait band setup. Ensure the needle passes through the firmer inner core of the boilie to maintain a secure hold on the hair.
- Compatibility: Compatible with standard carp rigs, including blow-back rigs and basic bottom-bait presentations. They do not require additional attractants or dips.
- Storage: Keep the boilies in their original resealable packaging to prevent the Sensate coating from drying out. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Handling: Handle gently to avoid rubbing off the active paste layer before the bait is cast into the water.
