Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure the roof surface is clean and dry. Trim the silicone opening to the appropriate diameter for your pipe to ensure a snug fit. Apply a high-grade roofing sealant to the underside of the base, secure it with fasteners according to your roof material (metal screws for steel roofs, for instance), and seal all edges thoroughly. For long-term care, inspect the flashing once a year after extreme weather events to check for any signs of debris accumulation or sealant degradation. Use only mild soap and water for cleaning; avoid harsh chemical solvents that could compromise the silicone integrity.
