Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure you have a dedicated SRAM chainring removal tool for the lockring interface. Clean the crank spindle splines thoroughly before mounting the ring to prevent creaking. Use a torque wrench to tighten the lockring to the manufacturer-specified torque—typically 40 Nm.
Compatibility: This model is designed for Boost spacing and is compatible with SRAM XX1, X01, and X1-1400 direct mount cranksets. It is intended for use exclusively with 12-speed Eagle chains.
Care: Periodically check for tooth wear. While the hard-anodized finish is durable, replacing the chain as it reaches 0.5% wear will significantly extend the life of your chainring.
