They are designed for 1/3 sheet orbital sanders. Ensure your sander uses the 8-hole dust extraction pattern for full compatibility.
Yes, the aluminium oxide construction is suitable for both wood and metal applications.
80 grit is a medium-grade abrasive primarily used for stock removal, smoothing rough lumber, or removing old paint.
This pack contains 10 individual sanding sheets.
No, these sheets feature a paper backing that is intended for dry sanding applications only.
Ensure the paper is pulled tight by the clamps and is not loose against the base plate.
Verify that the 8-hole pattern on the sheet aligns perfectly with the sander base and empty the dust bag regularly.
Clean the surface of the paper with a sanding cleaning stick or brush to remove clogged debris.
To set up these sheets, ensure your sander is disconnected from power. Align the holes in the sandpaper with the suction holes on the sander’s base plate. Secure the paper using the spring-loaded clamps at the front and back of the sander. Ensure the paper is pulled tight and sits flat against the rubber pad to prevent vibration or tearing. After use, store the sheets in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture absorption, which can weaken the adhesive bond of the abrasive grit.
