Full details

The VidaXL Family Tent in blue is an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts and families seeking a reliable, spacious shelter for camping, garden retreats, or terrace use. It provides excellent protection through its UV-resistant and water-resistant polyester construction, offering peace of mind during unpredictable weather. While the tent is impressively large at 622 x 295 x 238 cm, its size requires a significant footprint, making it less suitable for small, restricted camping plots or lightweight backpacking trips.

FAQs

How many people can fit in this tent?

The tent is designed as a large family shelter; the exact number depends on your sleep system preferences, but it is sized to comfortably accommodate a family.

Is the floor waterproof?

The tent is made with water-resistant polyester to provide protection from damp ground and rain.

Can one person set this tent up?

While possible, the large size makes it significantly easier to assemble with at least two people.

What is the weight of the tent when packed?

The weight is optimized for family camping, but due to its size and material quality, it is intended for car camping rather than transport by foot.

Does it come with pegs and guy ropes?

Yes, the tent includes the necessary components for standard setup, including a carrying bag for organization.

Troubleshooting

Zip closure is sticking or difficult to pull

Ensure the tent fabric is pulled taut and even; check for debris caught in the zipper teeth.

Condensation building up inside

Ensure the air vent is fully open and consider keeping a section of the entrance slightly open to improve cross-ventilation.

Tent feels unstable in wind

Verify that all guy lines are properly staked out at a 45-degree angle and tensioned correctly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the VidaXL Family Tent is straightforward, though due to its substantial size, it is recommended to assemble it with at least two people. Always select a flat, debris-free area before spreading out the tent body.

To ensure the longevity of your tent:

Clean After Use: Remove dirt, grass, and mud with a soft brush or damp cloth before folding.
Dry Completely: Never store the tent while wet or damp to prevent mold and fabric degradation.
Storage: Store in the provided carrying bag in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight when not in use.
Handling: Avoid dragging the tent over sharp rocks or twigs, as this can compromise the water-resistant coating.
