Product Information

Full details

The Toy Story Alien Claw Rope Dog Toy is designed for dog owners who want a multi-functional play companion that combines fetch, tug-of-war, and independent chewing. This officially licensed product excels at keeping pets engaged through a mix of textures, a built-in squeaker, and an interactive sliding claw feature; however, like most plush-hybrid toys, it is best suited for supervised play rather than intense, heavy-duty chewing sessions.

FAQs

Is this toy safe for heavy chewers?

While the toy is durable, the plush head is not intended for power chewers. We recommend supervising play and removing the toy if your dog begins to shred the fabric.

Can the toy be machine washed?

We recommend hand washing with mild soap to protect the longevity of the squeaker and the structural integrity of the rope.

What is the primary material used?

The toy features a combination of durable twisted cotton-blend rope and soft synthetic plush fabric.

Is this an officially licensed product?

Yes, this is an officially licensed Toy Story product.

Does the sliding claw come off the rope?

The claw is designed to slide along the length of the rope as an interactive feature and is secured to prevent it from being easily detached.

Troubleshooting

Squeaker stops making sound

Check for debris or saliva accumulation inside the character head, or ensure the squeaker has not shifted away from its original position.

Excessive fraying of the rope

Trim loose rope ends with fabric scissors to prevent them from becoming tangled or ingested, and consider using the toy for shorter, supervised sessions.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

No assembly is required for this toy; simply remove all packaging and ensure all tags are clipped off before giving it to your pet. The toy is compatible with dogs of most sizes, though it is sized most appropriately for medium breeds. To maintain the life of the toy, avoid leaving it submerged in water, which can damage the internal squeaker. If the toy becomes heavily soiled, hand wash it in mild detergent and ensure it is completely air-dried before the next play session to prevent odor buildup. Regularly inspect the rope and plush for signs of severe wear or loose threads to ensure continued safe play.
