It will securely hold doors, sheet materials, studs for interior wood framing, and many other applications where the material requires support. The clamp gives the user the ability to easily mark-out, route-out, plane, and drill without the difficult job of keeping the material in place with a single hand. Its strong grip will hold materials up to a width of 55mm (2 ¼in) making it ideal for working on FD30 and FD60 fire doors. Simply push the grip out of its holder, and securely lock onto the side of the object. This can be done with a hand, or foot, depending on the application it is used for. The sturdy base can be used on table-tops and floors, with the added benefit of support screw holes that can secure the base in place when used with heavy objects. It can also be secured to an additional base (NOT supplied) for extra stability. Specification: Capacity: 15 – 55mm.
The Faithfull Upright Clamp is for DIY enthusiasts and tradespeople who frequently work alone on projects requiring material support. Its key benefit is providing a stable, hands-free grip on materials like doors and studs, enabling precise marking, routing, planing, and drilling. A potential caveat is that maximum stability for very heavy objects may require securing the base or using an additional base (not supplied). This clamp securely holds materials from 15-55mm wide, making it ideal for tasks like fitting fire doors, and can be operated by hand or foot.

Troubleshooting
Clamp not holding material securely
Ensure the material width is within the 15-55mm range. Check that the clamp is fully engaged and locked. Clean any debris from the gripping surfaces.
Clamp difficult to engage or disengage
Inspect the clamping mechanism for dirt or obstructions. Lubricate moving parts sparingly with a suitable lubricant if necessary.
Base feels unstable
Ensure the base is on a level surface. For heavy-duty use, utilize the pre-drilled holes to screw the base to a workbench or floor. Consider an additional base for extra stability if required.
