The Dodo Mat Deadezy Ecofill is an ideal thermal insulation solution for DIY van converters and professional builders who prioritize sustainability and ease of handling. Crafted from up to 95% recycled plastic bottles, this fleece offers high thermal efficiency without the skin irritation often associated with traditional mineral wool, though users should ensure they provide adequate ventilation and consider vapor barrier integration to prevent moisture buildup in the van cavity.

No, because the product is made from recycled plastic bottles and is itch-free, you do not need respiratory protection or gloves for handling.
Yes, it has been tested to FMVSS302 and ISO 3795:1989 standards, which are the required safety ratings for automotive interiors.
While this material offers some sound absorption, it is primarily designed as a thermal insulator. For structural sound deadening, you should use a dedicated butyl-based mat underneath this fleece.
You can use spray adhesive, mechanical fixings, or simply friction-fit the material into the cavity if the panel structure supports it.
The Dodo Mat Deadezy Ecofill is proudly made in the United Kingdom.
The polyester fiber is moisture-resistant; however, you should always use a vapor barrier to prevent condensation from accumulating within the van walls.
Allow the roll to sit in a warm environment for 24 hours to loft properly, or gently shake/tease the fibers apart.
Tear the fleece into smaller strips to layer it into the gap rather than forcing a thick section.
Installation of the Deadezy Ecofill is straightforward and requires only basic tools like scissors or a sharp knife. When installing, push the fleece gently into the vehicle cavities, ensuring it is snug but not heavily compressed. It is highly recommended to pair this with a high-quality foil-backed vapor barrier to prevent interior condensation from saturating the insulation, which is a critical step for longevity in any van build. The material is durable and requires no special maintenance, though you should avoid exposing it to direct water leaks or prolonged moisture. If the material becomes wet, allow it to dry completely in a well-ventilated area before sealing the panel lining.
