Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best results, pre-wash your fabric as you intend to wash the finished garment to account for minor shrinkage. When cutting, lay the fabric on a flat, non-slip surface and use pattern weights rather than excessive pins to keep the grainline straight.
For sewing, a universal needle (size 70/10 or 80/12) is generally sufficient. Use a slightly longer stitch length to prevent the fabric from bunching. For maintenance, wash on a gentle cycle in cool water and allow the fabric to air dry to preserve its unique crinkled texture. If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting and avoid pressing flat, as the crinkle is a desired feature of the fabric.
