Troubleshooting

Window is difficult to open or close.

Check for any obstructions in the window frame or mechanism. Ensure the control bar is properly aligned. If the issue persists, the hinges or mechanism may require adjustment by a professional.

Noise reduction is not as effective as expected.

Verify that all seals around the window frame are intact and properly fitted. Ensure any gaps between the window frame and the roof structure are sealed correctly. Check that the correct flashing kit for your roofing material was used.

Condensation on the outer glass (dew).

The anti-dew coating is designed to manage this. Significant condensation may indicate high indoor humidity. Ensure adequate ventilation in the room. The coating helps minimize water droplets for better visibility.

Water leaks around the window.

This typically indicates an issue with the installation or the flashing. Inspect the flashing kit for damage or improper installation. It is recommended to contact a professional installer to reseal or repair the flashing.

The window does not lock securely.

Ensure the control bar is fully in the closed position. Check that the integrated frame locks are engaging correctly. If damage is suspected to the locking mechanism, professional assessment is required.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Ensure the roof structure can support the window and that it is installed flush with the surrounding roofing material according to manufacturer guidelines.
