The Hope Press-Fit PF41 bottom bracket is designed for cyclists running frames with threadless shells who prioritize long-term durability and drivetrain stability. Featuring high-quality stainless steel cartridge bearings, it offers smooth rotation and excellent weather resistance for mountain or road bikes. While the press-fit design provides a secure platform, it requires specific professional-grade installation tools to ensure precise alignment and prevent frame damage.

No, this specific model is designed exclusively for 24mm crank axles.
Yes, the Hope PF41 is designed to be serviceable, and individual replacement bearings are available.
Absolutely. The stainless steel bearings are specifically chosen for their resistance to water and debris.
Yes, you will need a standard press-fit installation tool to press the cups into the frame safely.
The center tube acts as a sleeve that screws the two cups together, which helps keep the bearings aligned and prevents them from shifting under load.
Ensure the center tube is tightened correctly and the cups are fully seated against the frame shell.
Verify that your frame shell is perfectly clean and use a proper bearing press tool; do not hammer the cups into place.
Check that the correct spacers are being used for your specific shell width (BB86/BB92) to prevent over-compression.
Installation of the Hope PF41 requires a headset/bottom bracket press tool. Always ensure your frame's shell is clean and free of debris before application. Use a light coating of waterproof grease on the cup surfaces to facilitate an easier press and prevent future noise.
