Korsteel Stainless Steel Mullen Mouth Fixed Cheek Eggbutt Weymouth Set. This is a bradoon and Weymouth curb bit set. The fixed cheek curb provides a steady and regular contact, as well as leverage, poll pressure, and curb pressure, all of which help the horse lower its head. The Eggbutt Bradoon provides consistent contact and functions similarly to a snaffle, applying pressure to the lips, tongue, and mouth bars. When opposed to a loose ring bradoon, the eggbutt form reduces the risk of pinching the corners of the mouth. The fixed cheek curb offers a still and consistent contact and aids provide leverage, poll pressure and curb pressure to encourage the horse to lower its head. The Eggbutt Bradoon offers a consistent contact and works in the same way as a snaffle, placing pressure on the lips, tongue, and the bars of the mouth. The eggbutt style reduces the chance of pinching the sides of the mouth when compared to a loose ring bradoon.
