FAQs
Does the ottoman require any assembly?
No, the Tanith Flower Ottoman comes fully assembled and is ready for use immediately out of the box.
Can this be used as a coffee table?
While it can function as a surface, it is best used as a table when paired with a sturdy tray to create a flat, stable platform.
How should I clean the velvet fabric?
For routine cleaning, use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment. For spills, blot gently with a clean cloth, avoiding harsh scrubbing.
Is the base protected against floor scratching?
The base is designed for indoor use, but we recommend adding felt floor protectors to the bottom if you have delicate hardwood floors.
What is the weight capacity of the ottoman?
The ottoman is built with a sturdy wood base intended for normal footrest and seating use; it should not be stood upon or used as a step stool.
Troubleshooting
Visible dust or lint on the surface
Use a lint roller or a vacuum with an upholstery brush attachment to gently lift particles from the velvet fibers.
Crushed velvet pile from heavy items
Lightly steam the area from a distance and gently brush the fibers back into place with a soft-bristle garment brush.
Ottoman feels unstable on uneven floors
Ensure the floor is level, or apply small felt furniture pads to the base to improve stability and prevent floor scratching.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
This ottoman arrives fully assembled, requiring only the removal of protective packaging before placement in your home. To maintain the appearance of the dark grey velvet, vacuum the piece weekly using an upholstery attachment to remove loose dust. For liquid spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub the fabric, as this may damage the velvet pile. Keep the ottoman away from direct, harsh sunlight to prevent potential color fading over extended periods.
