Pros and Cons

Pros

  • High strength due to the use of chrome molybdenum steel.
  • Precise fit with a 6-point design for secure engagement.
  • Versatile compatibility with a standard 1/2" drive.
  • Durable construction ensures a long lifespan.

Cons

  • Specific size (40mm) limits its use to compatible nuts only.
  • Requires a 1/2" drive tool, which may require an adapter if you don't already have one.
  • May not be suitable for extremely tight or corroded nuts without proper preparation (penetrating oil, etc.).

Setup, Compatibility & Care

  1. Compatibility: Ensure that the socket size (40mm) matches the hub nut on your vehicle. Confirm that you have a 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar.
  2. Attachment: Attach the socket securely to your 1/2" drive tool.
  3. Use: Place the socket over the hub nut and apply force in the direction required (loosening or tightening).
  4. Care: Clean the socket after each use to remove any dirt or debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent corrosion. Periodically check for any signs of wear or damage.

Important: Always use the correct torque specifications when tightening hub nuts, as specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
