FAQs

What is paste-the-wall technology?

Paste-the-wall technology means you apply the paste directly to the wall instead of the wallpaper. This makes it easier to hang and remove.

How do I calculate how much wallpaper I need?

Measure the height and width of the walls to be covered and calculate the total surface area. Consider the pattern repeat and allow for extra wallpaper for matching.

Can I use this wallpaper in a bathroom?

While it can be used in bathrooms, ensure adequate ventilation to prevent moisture build-up.

How do I remove the wallpaper?

Superfresco Easy wallpaper is designed for easy removal. Typically, you can peel it off the wall when dry, or use a steamer to help soften the adhesive.

What kind of paste should I use?

Use a good quality wallpaper paste suitable for non-woven wallpaper, as this product uses paste-the-wall technology.

Does this wallpaper come with a warranty?

Please refer to the product packaging or retailer for specific warranty information. Warranty details may vary.

Troubleshooting

Wallpaper is not sticking to the wall.

Ensure the wall is properly prepared and that sufficient paste has been applied. Press firmly, and use a smoother to remove air bubbles.

Seams are visible.

Make sure the edges of the wallpaper are butted up closely together without overlapping. Use a seam roller gently along the seams.

Air bubbles are trapped under the wallpaper.

Use a wallpaper smoother to push the air bubbles towards the edges, and then carefully prick any remaining bubbles with a pin and smooth them down.

  • Easy to remove, making it suitable for renters or those who like to redecorate frequently.

Cons

  • May not fully cover significant wall damage.

  • Metallic accents might be a polarizing design choice for some.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

  1. Preparation: Ensure walls are clean, dry, and free from loose paint or wallpaper. Fill any holes or cracks and sand the surface smooth.
  2. Application: Apply wallpaper paste directly to the wall. Align the wallpaper and smooth out any air bubbles with a wallpaper smoother.
  3. Hanging: Cut the wallpaper to the required length, allowing for some overlap at the top and bottom. Then, apply the wallpaper directly onto the pasted wall, matching the pattern where necessary.
  4. Trimming: Trim excess wallpaper at the top and bottom using a sharp knife.
  5. Care: Gently wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
