To ensure peak performance, verify that the nylon faces are securely screwed into the head before use. While the hammer is ready out of the box, inspect the faces periodically for cracks or excessive mushrooming. When the faces eventually show significant wear, they can be unscrewed and replaced to restore the hammer's original performance. Keep the chrome-plated head clean by wiping it with a dry cloth to prevent oxidation and store the hammer in a cool, dry workshop environment to maintain the integrity of the plastic handle.
