FAQs
Is this sculpture made of real solid bronze?
No, it features a cold cast bronze finish. This process involves blending bronze powder with resin to create a high-quality decorative piece that mimics the appearance of solid metal.
Where is the Frith Zippo Baby Hedgehog made?
This sculpture is expertly crafted in the UK.
Can I leave this ornament outdoors?
It is not recommended. The cold cast bronze finish is designed for indoor use and may degrade or lose its luster if exposed to weather and humidity.
How do I clean the sculpture safely?
Use only a soft, dry cloth to wipe away dust. Do not use liquids, abrasive materials, or chemical polishes.
What are the dimensions of the sculpture?
The sculpture is 5cm tall and 9cm wide.
Troubleshooting
Accumulation of dust in hard-to-reach areas
Use a clean, dry, soft-bristled brush, such as a makeup brush, to gently sweep dust out of the textured areas.
The sculpture feels unstable on the surface
Ensure the surface is completely flat and level; you can add a small felt adhesive pad to the base to improve grip and protect furniture.
Pros and Cons

- Elegant and timeless bronze aesthetic
- Compact size fits easily on most shelves or surfaces
- High-quality craftsmanship from UK artisans
- Detailed artistic design by Thomas Meadows
Cons
- Not intended for outdoor display due to the material finish
- Static piece with no moving parts or functional utility
- Small size might be overlooked in very large rooms
Setup, Compatibility & Care
No assembly is required for the Zippo Baby Hedgehog. Simply place it on a clean, dry surface. Because the finish is cold cast bronze, it is sensitive to abrasive cleaning agents. To maintain its appearance, use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to dust the sculpture periodically. Avoid using chemical cleaners, wax, or water, as these can strip or dull the finish over time. Keep the sculpture away from direct, harsh sunlight for extended periods to preserve the depth of the bronze patina.
