What is the hydrostatic head rating of the flysheet?

The flysheet has a hydrostatic head rating of 3000 mm, providing good water resistance.

What materials are used for the poles?

The poles are constructed from 9.5 mm fibreglass and 16 mm steel for durability and stability.

Does the windscreen come with guy lines and pegs?

The product description mentions guy lines for stability. Pegs are typically included with camping accessories of this nature, but it's recommended to check the product packaging for a complete list.

Can this windscreen be used as a full tent or shelter?

No, this is a windscreen designed to provide protection from wind and a degree of privacy. It does not offer full enclosure like a tent.

What are the dimensions when packed?

Troubleshooting

Windscreen is unstable in wind.

Ensure all poles are correctly inserted and locked. Use the guy lines to secure the windscreen to the ground, even if it appears stable without them in lighter conditions.

Difficult to pack down.

Ensure all poles are fully collapsed. Fold the fabric neatly inwards before rolling, starting from the side opposite the poles. Store it in the provided carry bag.

Fabric appears dirty.

Wipe down the flysheet with a damp cloth. For tougher marks, use a mild soap solution and rinse with clean water, ensuring the fabric dries completely before storage.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Unpack the windscreen and allow the pre-connected poles and flysheet to unfold. Extend the poles and secure them in their designated positions. The windscreen is now ready for use. For increased stability, especially in breezy conditions, use the guy lines to anchor the windscreen to the ground.

Compatibility: This windscreen is a standalone accessory and does not integrate with specific tent models. It is designed for use on various outdoor surfaces like grass, sand, or firm ground.

Care: After use, ensure the windscreen is completely dry before packing it away to prevent mildew. Clean the fabric with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Store in its original carry bag in a cool, dry place.
